A Bengaluru space-tech company building precision payloads.
We build star cameras, edge compute and imaging optics that give a small satellite sharp, geolocated pictures from any bus. The team has space experience at ISRO and Planet Labs, USA.

Components, and the satellites around them.
- Star tracker
- A star camera that solves attitude while the satellite is still turning.
- Edge compute
- On-board registration, stacking and geolocation on dedicated processors.
- Imaging optics
- A Cassegrain telescope feeding its sub-frames straight to the compute module.
- Satellite buses
- A 3U imaging satellite with the star camera inside and a payload bay below, and a 1U bus in development.
Simulate, build, fly, measure.
- Designed and built in India
- We design and build in Bengaluru. Our star camera is ITAR-free.
- Flown before it is quoted
- Every claim on this site is either flown or on a dated flight to be measured.
- Early and often
- A near-space flight every few months turns simulations into measured numbers. Stratos-1 flew in May 2026; Stratos-2 flies in October 2026.
About Constellation Aerospace
Where is Constellation Aerospace based?
In Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India. We design and build our hardware there.
What does Constellation Aerospace make?
Components for small imaging satellites: a star camera that solves attitude while the satellite is turning, on-board processing and imaging optics. We also build complete CubeSat buses around them: a 3U in design and a 1U in development.
Is the star camera ITAR-free?
Yes. It is designed and built in India and is not a US defence article under ITAR.
Has Constellation Aerospace flown hardware?
Yes. Stratos-1 flew our compute module and cameras to 42 km in May 2026. Stratos-2 flies the star camera in October 2026.
Who is on the team?
Engineers with space experience at ISRO and Planet Labs, USA, working across embedded, FPGA, optics, controls and mechanical design.
Is Constellation Aerospace hiring?
Yes, in Bengaluru. See the careers page, or email your CV to info@constellationspace.io.
Fly a pathfinder, or join the team.
Reserve a star-camera engineering unit for 2027.
